Construction - Bayside Home Project

NEW VOLUNTEERS: Orientation is required before you sign up for volunteer shifts. Please go to the project catalog and click on the Orientation page to sign up. *Construction projects are not open for court-appointed community service hours. Please check out our store opportunities. Howdy Builders! We are excited to announce that we have resumed scheduling volunteer opportunities for our newest affordable home construction project, The Bayside Home! The project scope includes a full rehabilitation of the home located at 1909 Rockefeller, in the Bayside Neighborhood in Everett. This is a familiar area to long-time builders. We dedicated the Phoenix 2 project on 12/26/2016 just a few blocks away on the 200 block of 23rd Ave. Across the alley from that home, you’ll find the Everett Habitat Store. We’ve completed several home repair projects in this area, too. With The Bayside Home, we’re continuing to make a larger impact in this neighborhood. We appreciate you considering joining us as we work alongside our new Habitat Partner Family to renovate, build, and purchase their own decent and affordable home. Individual volunteer opportunities are available. We have limited group opportunities. If you are interested in being added to our group list, please reach out to Genevieve Hewitt - Volunteer Engagement Manager: volunteer@habitatsnohomish.org, (425) 300-6110. Volunteer shifts will be added regularly, so keep an eye out!

1909 Rockefeller Ave Everett, WA 98201

We will be performing a full rehab and square footage addition to the home. Work planned for November and December 2023 will focus on removing parts of the building we don't need for the final home. We hope to have the home move-in ready for the selected partner family by spring, 2024.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to: Chris Anderson, Construction Manager at: canderson@habitatsnohomish.org, (425) 659-1405 Genevieve Hewitt, Volunteer Engagement Manager at: volunteer@habitatsnohomish.org, (425)-300-6110

Safety training will be given on-site once you arrive for your shift and continuously throughout the project. Please wear closed toe shoes and weather appropriate clothing. Please be conscious of clothing logos and designs, as you are representing Habitat for Humanity while on site. Please note, dependent on factors such as weather (extreme heat/cold) or the number of volunteers that attend each day, some dates have the potential to be moved and/or cancelled.

If you are unable to make your scheduled shift for any reason, please withdraw from your shift online before your scheduled start time and reach out to the Volunteer Engagement Manager directly. Genevieve Hewitt, volunteer@habitatsnohomish.org, (425) 300-6110
