Our Habitat Stores are second-use home improvement stores that sell quality building materials and furniture back into the community at a great discount. They then dedicate all profits to support building and repairing homes for low-income families in our community. As a Volunteer Store Associate, you get to work with interesting people, contribute your talents, and learn new skills. Duties include tasks such as: accepting donations, sorting and pricing products, organizing and stocking shelves, creating displays, assisting customers with loading out purchases, cashiering, customer service, and assisting senior team members with other tasks as needed. No special experience is required for this volunteer position, all interested are welcome. A brief on-site orientation and tour will be given at the beginning of your first shift. You will find this entrance on the rear left of the building - just walk up the loading dock steps to the door and let staff know you've arrived for your shift!
