Our annual fundraiser, Raise the Roof is happening on September 19th from 5-8pm at the Lynnwood Event Center. With your participation, we can further our mission to build homes, communities, and hope. We would love your help to set up auction items, monitor the event, check in guests, assemble nametags, and stuff auction packets!

Our Habitat Stores are second-use home improvement stores that sell quality building materials and furniture back into the community at a great discount. All profits are dedicated to supporting Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County's mission of building and repairing homes for low-income families in our community. As a Volunteer Store Associate, you get to work with interesting people, contribute your talents, and learn new skills. Duties include tasks such as accepting donations, sorting and pricing products, organizing and stocking shelves, creating displays, assisting customers with loading purchases, cashiering, providing customer service, and assisting senior team members with other tasks as needed. No special experience is required for this volunteer position—all interested individuals are welcome. Volunteers must attend a volunteer orientation before their first shift. You may choose to attend an orientation at either our Everett or Lynnwood Habitat Store. Please refer to the Volunteer Orientation project to select the location that is most convenient for you. If you are unable to attend a scheduled orientation, please contact our Community Engagement Manager at volunteer@habitatsnohomish.org to discuss other options. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer independently. If you are under 16 years of age, please contact volunteer@habitatsnohomish.org to learn about volunteer opportunities that may be available or to see if there are shifts you may attend with an adult guardian or sponsor. Following orientation, a brief site-specific tour will be provided at the beginning of your first volunteer shift. If you have any questions about this opportunity, please contact our Community Engagement Manager at volunteer@habitatsnohomish.org.
